The National Rural Health Students' Network (NRHSN) represents 28 Rural Health Clubs (RHC) with over 6500 members located at universities throughout Australia. The NRHSN is a multidisciplinary Network representing medical, nursing and allied health students aiming to increase the health workforce and health outcomes for rural and remote Australians.

The National Rural Health Students' Network is supported by financial assistance from Australian Government.  Rural Health Workforce Australia proudly auspices the NRHSN.

NRHSN & AMSA Rural Elective Bursaries & Indigenous Health Essay Comp

The NRHSN and AMSA are combining to provide $1,000 rural elective bursaries and indigenous health essay bussaries.  These are open to medical, nursing and allied health students

Wide Horizons Health Students Get Out of Town

Three health students share their experiences of rural and remote placements in the Wide Horizons Health Students Get Out of Town documentary.

Felix, Josh and Rachel highlight the highs and lows of their placements in Mareeba, Katherine and Alice Springs including both social and clinical aspects.

It includes plenty of information and ideas on how to run a Rural High School Visit as well as updates on which Club is visiting which school and when. The site is also a great resource for you to refer high school students, teacher's and parent's to when on you visit for further information.
